A message from the Art360 Board of Trustees
Since its inception in 2015, Art360 Foundation has been deeply committed to conserving the work of artists and those caring for artists’ legacies through a multitude of projects and programmes, working with artists and estates to help preserve important cultural heritage.
The Art360 Programme has offered expert consultation such as guidance on conservation, curation, digitisation of artwork and much more, to ensure artists’ work is accessible for future generations for over nine years. Our efforts have been fuelled by the support of our donors, staff, and the visual artist community.
However, regrettably, today we must announce the closure of Art360 Foundation. This decision, although difficult, is a direct consequence of ongoing financial challenges in an increasingly demanding fundraising environment.
In recent times, sustaining our operations has become progressively difficult. The landscape of charitable giving has undergone significant changes since COVID and despite our best efforts, we have struggled to secure the necessary funding to continue our work. This reality, coupled with economic uncertainties, has led us to this regrettable but necessary conclusion.
As we wind down our operations, we are committed to doing so with transparency and respect for all our stakeholders. We will ensure that any remaining funds are used in accordance with our mission and donor intentions. The current Recollect programme will be the last delivery of bursaries in its current form and these will be managed and delivered with the support of DACS.
We wish to extend our gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey. Your generosity, time, and belief in our cause have made a profound impact. It is important to acknowledge that the closure of Art360Foundation does not, by any means, diminish the importance of the issues we have championed.
